It will give you the low-down of how we run things here, and it should help simplify everything for you! Breeding


When breeding, you are required to put fade to black for the actual breeding part. The thread is also required to have an [M] tag in the title to mark it mature. Graphic breeding is not allowed and your post will be deleted if it falls under the graphic. Depending on the severity, you could get banned. Repeated offenses of this rule will result in permanent ban.

Sexual maturity for the site is 2 years of age. That means only character ages two (2) and up may bare children. Though once they hit the age of twenty (20), they can no longer give birth to children. This also means that the site will not tolerate any characters being bred below the age of 2 years old.

Pregnancy time will be 2 OC weeks starting from the date of conception. You have one OC month to find RPers for the babes, and after that they are assumed to have been killed by predators. All cubs are required to have an RPer. Cubs will be playable 2 OC weeks after the birth thread's creation. This is because when cubs are born, they can't see, hear, or smell. That means they stay in the den or wherever they were born until they are able to make it out to the bright world. Staff will roll to see what size the litter will be. Here are the exact numbers:

    Successful: 2, 4, 6, 8, 9
    Unsuccessful: 1, 3, 5, 7, 10
    Number of children: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
    Miscarriage: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10


Same sex couples may have children. However, the rpers must buy a token from the shop that can only be used once. Then the couple will receive the babes by the rpers choice (after all this is a fantasy RPG). You have 1 OC month to find each cub a roleplayer. Same sex couple's litter size is rolled the same way as normal couples. They are gifted by the Gods.

Genetics can be tricky, and staff has a way to do these. We put the markings that your characters have a generator, and we generate them until we have markings for each babe in the litter. Then we do the same for base, eyes, etc. This way, the children will have traits like the parents, but they can also be different. So as to keep diversity, only pick 3 physical traits that the two parents have each. If those traits are rolled for the babe, it is required to have them but after that, everything if free game. Make sure to fill out the appropriate form when applying for a roll.

Wolves can have more children after 1 IC year. If your wolf wants to have more children sooner, then they would have to abandon their previous litter.

If your breeding was unsuccessful then you will need to wait 1 oc week to try again. Growth Guide

.50 By this age, your character should be 25% of his or her weight (adult weight) and 45% of their adult height. This is when they start to learn how to hunt and to do adult jobs. This age is considered a child.
1.00 By this age, your character should be 50% of his or her weight (adult weight) and 60% of their adult height. They can now be left on their own and participate in hunts and such. This age is considered a preteen.
1.50 By this age, your character should be 75% of his or her weight (adult weight), and 100% of their adult height. If parents wish, they can now abandon this child without worry. This age is considered a teen.
2.00 By this age, your character has reached sexual maturity and 100% of his or her weight and height. They are now considered an adult.
